Saint Patrick's Day Parade
The Dublin Select Softball team participated in its inaugural City of Dublin Saint Patrick's Day Parade. A regional event, this parade draws guests from all over; an estimated 20,000 attendees! Players, parents and coaches helped decorate a float, passing out 6,000 shamrock rings to children along the parade route. We received a lot of positive feedback and the girls had a blast giving back.
Miracle LeagueMiracle League of Central Ohio was formed in 2004 with the mission of raising funds to build a unique baseball field for children with mental and physical challenges in the Central Ohio area.
All of the Dublin Select Softball players and coaches volunteer with Miracle League. Our players are buddies, cheerleaders, and helpers during Miracle League Games. |

Project Linus
|
Project Linus is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide homemade blankets to children in need. Most children will receive their blankets through a local hospital, shelter, or other agency. The blankets are made by children and adults from all walks of life who come together for one cause.
Dublin Select Softball came together this holiday season to make blankets for Project Linus. Together we were able to produce 31 blankets to donate! |
