Tryout times are tentative: over-runs in time schedules may occur based on the number of girls trying out.
​Please have players show up at least 20 minutes prior to the tryout time in order to warm up and complete the registration process.

Age Groups

Players qualify for age divisions based on their age on September 1

10U - Date of birth Sept. 1, 2015, and before
12U - Date of birth Sept. 1, 2013, and before
14U - Date of birth Sept. 1, 2011, and before
  16U - Date of birth Sept. 1, 2009, and before

Typical DSS Schedule

Fall (Aug-Oct)
  • 6-10 practices
  • $ Mannino's Fall League (optional by team)
    • Sunday Double Headers (5 weeks, 10 games)
    • Estimated $125 per athlete

Winter (Nov-Feb)
  • $ Mannino's Indoor League (optional by team)
    • 5 weeks each, 4-6 players per team 
    • Live pitcher, catcher, batter, umpire in batting tunnel
    • Estimated $70 - $100 per player based on team size 
  • 4-8 Indoor practices (Dublin Gyms and Manninos)
  • Pitching Catching Group Instruction 
    • 8 weeks, Sundays 45 min with paid instructors
  • Outreach Event (2019 Projet Linus)

    • 16u : W 6 weeks (10 games)
  • 3-4 Tournaments (locations vary by team)
